Description

5 × 40 FT Bottom + 3 × 40 FT Top Container Home (G+1 Luxury Residence) — Full Description

Project Overview

This large-scale G+1 container residence is developed using eight 40-foot shipping containers, with five containers forming a spacious ground floor and three containers placed above to create a well-balanced upper level. The configuration offers generous internal volumes, strong zoning, and the flexibility to integrate terraces, balconies, or shaded outdoor spaces.

  • Number of containers: 8
  • Container size: 40 FT each
  • Total built-up area: ≈ 240 m² (≈ 2,580 sq.ft.)
  • Configuration: Ground Floor (5 containers) + First Floor (3 containers)
  • Use: Ideal for luxury villas, large family homes, resorts, or premium rentals

The stepped G+1 massing allows excellent daylight, privacy between floors, and a strong architectural presence while maintaining structural efficiency.

Overall Dimensions (Per Container)

Length 40 ft (≈ 12.2 m)
Width 8 ft (≈ 2.4 m)
Internal Height 8 – 8.5 ft (after insulation & ceiling)
Area per container ≈ 30 m²

Design Concept

The ground floor acts as the primary social and family zone, while the upper floor is reserved for private bedrooms and leisure spaces. The reduced footprint on the upper level allows the creation of terraces, balconies, or double-height areas below.
