So, you’ve decided to explore the idea of a container home. Perhaps it’s the environmental benefits, the industrial aesthetic, or the appeal of economic savings that drew you in.
Our role is to remove uncertainty and make the process predictable, comfortable, and efficient.
Once you decide that the container-home route is right for you, our mission is to simplify your journey. By showcasing hundreds of proven designs on one platform, we allow you to visualise layouts, configurations, and how a particular design will look on your land—before construction even begins.
Quantum Qubes is a factory specialising in the manufacture of purpose-built container modules that form your home. These modules are manufactured specifically for your project—they are not retrofitted or second-hand containers.
If required, we can also supply appliances and furnishings, allowing for an even faster and more streamlined build.
Once your site is prepared with the required foundations, the modules can be delivered, placed, and stacked according to the approved design—immediately bringing your home to life.
Licensed trades such as electricians and plumbers are still required for final connections, but the most labour-intensive stages are already taken care of.
We’ve included hundreds of designs in our gallery—many of which have already been built. This gallery is designed to inspire you and help you visualise how a particular design will sit on your land.
Once you’ve selected a design, tell us your requirements—number of bedrooms, bathrooms, and any features that are important to you.
We generate a concept design based on your brief. This design can be refined through multiple revisions based on your feedback (modest design fees may apply).
Once the design is finalised, our engineers adapt the modules to suit your local building codes. A full set of engineered drawings is provided for submission to your builder or local authority. (Drawings are supplied upon confirmed order or available separately for a fee.)
Allow 12–16 weeks for manufacturing to be completed and your modules prepared for shipping.
DIY builds may be cheaper, but often require 18–24 months of dedicated effort. Traditional architect-led builds frequently cost the same or more due to labour, management, and compliance requirements. A well-designed container house can cost as much as, or more than, a traditional house.
The biggest advantage? Speed without compromise.
Because most complex work is completed in the factory, the number of skilled personnel required on-site is kept to a minimum. This makes our system ideal for owner-builders and DIY projects, while maintaining professional build quality.
