7 × 40 FT Container Home (Courtyard-Centric Luxury Villa) — Full Description
Project Overview
This courtyard-centric luxury container villa is developed using seven 40-foot shipping containers arranged around a large, private internal courtyard. The design places the courtyard as the spatial, visual, and climatic heart of the home, delivering exceptional natural light, cross-ventilation, and privacy while maintaining an estate-scale single-level footprint.
- Number of containers: 7
- Container size: 40 FT each
- Total built-up area: ≈ 210 m² (≈ 2,260 sq.ft.)
- Configuration: Single-level, courtyard-focused layout
- Use: Ideal for luxury villas, resort homes, farmhouses, or premium estate living
By orienting all major spaces toward the courtyard, the home achieves strong inward privacy, resort-like ambience, and seamless indoor–outdoor living.
