Description

4 × 40 FT + 1 × 20 FT Container Home (Ground Floor + Cantilever Module) — Full Description

Project Overview

This architecturally bold container home is developed using four 40-foot shipping containers arranged on the ground floor, with a single 20-foot container cantilevered above to create a dramatic floating element. The cantilever module functions as a private room or feature space while providing shaded outdoor areas below and a strong contemporary identity.

  • Number of containers: 5
  • Container sizes: 4 × 40 FT (Ground) + 1 × 20 FT (Cantilever)
  • Total built-up area: ≈ 135 m² (≈ 1,455 sq.ft.)
  • Configuration: Single-level primary living with cantilevered upper module
  • Use: Ideal for luxury villas, modern homes, resorts, or premium rental units

The cantilevered container enhances spatial layering, creates visual interest, and improves outdoor usability at the ground level.

Overall Dimensions

40 FT Container Area (each) ≈ 30 m²
20 FT Container Area ≈ 15 m²
